1:1 Support
For the tender, messy & what feels to be impossible moments after a relationship breakup ❤️🩹
Have you experienced a recent breakup that has left you riddled with anxiety, overwhelmed with confusing emotions & confidence nowhere to be found?
If you’re here because you’re ready to prioritise yourself & commit to healing so you can get back on your feet & create the life you deserve, you’re in the right place, come in & get comfy.
You deserve support
from someone who gets it.
Hi I’m Harriet! & I’ll start by saying that I’ve had my fair share of heartbreak. The ruminating thoughts that keep you up at night? I get it. The fear of being forever alone? I get it. The low mood, anxiety & grief? I get it.
Whilst our sessions will always be about you, there’s something special about knowing the person in front of you can easily understand your experience.
You can confidently expect full compassion, empathy & devotion to your care when you work with me.
What Can I
Support You With?
From overthinking
to a clear mind.
“Ex noise”, rumination, worrying about the future or self-critism? Bring it to session & I can guide you through skills that give you the power to disarm those loud thoughts once and for all.
From living in your head
to living in your life.
If since the breakup you find yourself disappearing into your thoughts, not really being in the room when you’re with friends, & feelings like you’re missing out on life – together, we can draw upon mindfulness practices to ground you back into the present.
From low self-esteem to an empowered sense of self.
After a breakup, it’s common for self-esteem to drop. Feelings of unworthiness & insecurity may rear it’s head that keeps you down & out. Together we can rewrite the story on who you are, creating a new found self-confidence.
From lost
to purpose.
When a breakup = back to square one, it can leave you feeling lost and directionless. Together, we can explore your values (aka what is most important to you in life) and start rebuilding your life around that.
From emotional overwhelm
to acceptance.
If your breakup recovery feels like an emotion bloodbath, let’s talk. It may feel natural to fight these feelings, suppress them, and even be angry at them – but the real healing works when we allow ourselves to feel.
From avoidance to
committed action.
Whilst some therapy looks like all talk and no action, this approach is the opposite. Together, I can support you in using this time to springboard back into taking control of your life, day by day, moment by moment.
A few extra details to give you the vibe of how I work
In our sessions, we don’t fix because you’re not broken. You never have to apologise for feeling & please know, I never judge.
Generalised breakup advice
can be safely left at the door.
The work we do together is
focused on what is best for you.
You set the pace.
There’s no timeline on breakup recovery
and as long as you want
to work together,
my door is open for you.
Flexible sessions.
Different day each week?
As long as I have space, you’ve got it.
Prefer the same day and time each week? Consider it done.
Rocking up to session in your PJ’s, coffee in hand & with your cat = more than okay
Modern Therapy for a Modern Breakup
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is a skills based therapy that’s main goal is psychological flexibility in order for you to create & live a life of meaning and purpose. Psychological flexibility allows us to respond to difficult thoughts & feelings with openness, compassion & curiosity so you can reduce the impact they have over your life.
Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy
Research has shown that combining hypnosis with an already established modality (like ACT or CBT) improves outcomes compared to those modalities working solo.
The hypnosis I practice has nothing to do with trance or the subconscious mind – it’s an evidence based process that works with your mind at a core level.

Sessions are 60 minutes (held online via Google Meet) & I use an integrative approach that is rooted in self-compassion + acceptance & committed action to help you let go of the struggle & build the confidence to move you towards the life you truly desire.
In sessions, I blend talk therapy with experiential tools such as hypnotherapy, therapeutic journal prompts, inner child work and mindfulness — making the process not only effective in helping you make change, but deeply healing, relaxing & comforting - (& also dare I say… enjoyable!).

I have a wealth of experience working with a wide range of presenting issues across different contexts.
Individuals I work with:
I primarily work with women (18+) who are ready to explore themselves on a deeper level & build self-worth from within by connecting with their values, finding their voice, and learning how to meet themselves with compassion.
These are women who are motivated to do the inner work, who want to feel more grounded in who they are, and who are open to learning practical, evidence-based tools to support their mental health in everyday life.Mental health symptoms I work with:
Self-esteem & confidence issues (including body image), binge eating, nervous system dysregulation, and generalised anxiety - including overthinking, constant worrying, felt anxiety, stress, and low mood related to self-worth.Cases I work with:
I support clients through a variety of life challenges connected to the above symptoms, including breakups (romantic & friendship), dating struggles, work-related stress, and identity shifts. If the core of what you’re facing ties back to how you see and treat yourself, we’ll likely be a good fit :)
🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️My practice is inclusive and welcoming to people of all races, identities, body sizes, and abilities. It’s LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-racist. You’re safe and respected here, exactly as you are.

There are certain mental health conditions and cases that I don’t work with — not because they aren’t valid or important — but because my current training and experience means I wouldn’t be able to support you to the standard you deserve. I believe in staying within my scope so that anyone who works with me gets the right care for their needs.
Mental health conditions I don’t work with:
PTSD, complex trauma, psychosis or schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, substance or alcohol addiction, clinical depression & severe self-harm / active suicidal ideation.Cases I don’t work with:
Divorce-related cases, legal cases, family court cases, couples work, young people & children.Any questions, please let me know and I’m always happy to clarify and even in some cases signpost you to more appropriate support.

It’s completely normal to feel nerves about starting therapy.
This is a huge reason why I offer a free introductory call so we can chat first, and then you make a pressure-free decision on whether I’m best therapist for you with confidence & reassurance.
My priority is making the space for you as comfy as possible: I encourage to join sessions in a safe space, bringing with you a hot drink & blanket to make it as relaxing as possible.
-
I also hold a first-class degree in Psychology (BSc Psych) and a Level 4 + 5 diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy which integrates evidence based hypnotherapy with traditional CBT.
Since qualifying, I have undertaken many additional certifications including an Eating Disorder Practitioner Diploma; Acceptance & Commitment Training; Compassion Focused Therapy, & many more.
Furthermore, I am currently in the midst of a 4-year counselling training programme (CPCAB accredited training).
-
I'm currently training to become a qualified counsellor, which makes me a trainee counsellor at present— so the therapy I offer right now isn’t classed as counselling.
Counselling is a longer-term talking therapy that typically helps you explore your thoughts & feelings in a non-directive space, often making links back to childhood & past experiences to understand present patterns.
What I offer combines hypnotherapy, coaching, and evidence-based psychological tools to help you shift how you think, feel, and act focused on the here and now. While it’s not counselling, it is deeply therapeutic & designed to create real, lasting change on a shorter term basis.
I know it can feel confusing when you’re looking for a therapist to discover that there’s different types of therapists — but research across all therapies strongly suggests that the most important factor in predicting therapeutic outcomes is the therapeutic relationship.
This means if you feel like we share the same vibe, you resonate with what I share online, then there is a strong chance we’ll be a good fit.
& this is exactly why I offer a free introduction call so you can be completely informed before making this investment.
