Every Monday, you promise yourself,
this week will be different.
You're determined.
You’re motivated.
You’re certain you won't binge eat again.
But by Wednesday, you've already bought the “binge food”, broken the promises you made to yourself, and you're left wondering why do you keep ending up here?
I can tell you that it isn't because you lack willpower.
And it isn't because you need another meal plan or stricter rules.
It’s because right now you don’t have the tools that teach you how to interrupt the unwanted overeating and emotional eating cycles at the moment they start.
This is why I created three powerful hypnotherapy recordings that are designed to help you break the patterns that lead to overeating, so you can find both control and freedom with food and yourself.
How can hypnotherapy help you stop overeating?
Unwanted eating behaviours can start to feel automatic → an urge appears → familiar thoughts take over → and before you know it, you’re repeating the same pattern again.
Hypnotherapy can help you slow that process down and practice responding differently.
By combining hypnosis with mindfulness, relaxation and guided imagery, these instant access recordings help you step back from urges and unhelpful thoughts, calm your mind and body, and mentally rehearse new ways of responding to food.
Rather than relying on willpower in the moment, you’re giving yourself an opportunity to practice the thoughts, feelings and behaviours you want to become more familiar —whether that’s allowing an urge to pass, soothing yourself without food, or seeing yourself move through your day feeling calm, in control and confident in the choices you make.
With 5+ years of professional hypnotherapy experience alongside specialist training in unwanted overeating and emotional eating, I’ve created three guided practices designed to help you build a calmer, more intentional relationship with food. These practices are suitable for beginners and you get instant lifetime access.
The 3 hypnotherapy practices for emotional eating and unwanted overeating
Inside, you’ll find 3 guided practices, each designed for a different moment you might experience around food. You’ll have access to all 3, so there’s no need to pick just one — you can simply choose the practice that feels most helpful that day.
Everything is completely guided from beginning to end, making the recordings easy to follow even if you’re brand new to hypnosis, mindfulness or meditation. They’re gentle, safe practices designed to help you pause, reset and practise a different way of responding.
1. Surf the Urge
This mindfulness-based exercise guides you through noticing an urge to overeat without immediately reacting to it. You’ll practice observing how the urge feels in your body, creating some distance from it and allowing it to change and pass on its own. This builds strength and resilience in choosing how to respond to unwanted thoughts and sensations.
You can use this recording when an urge feels particularly strong, or whenever you notice yourself getting pulled towards an unwanted eating behaviour.
This is a deep relaxation based hypnosis helping you practice finding comfort and regulating difficult emotions without turning to food. You’ll be guided into a deeply relaxed state using a powerful technique known as Muscular Tension Release before creating your own internal sense of comfort, safety and calm.
Use this recording when you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, emotional or simply having one of those days where food feels like the easiest way to feel better.
2. Soothe without Food
3. Imagine your ideal day
This guided hypnosis exercise gives you the opportunity to mentally rehearse how you want your day to go within the limits of your control. You’ll imagine yourself moving through an ordinary day feeling calm, confident and in control. This is a practice in taking back control of your own choices and decisions.
Use this recording proactively: in the morning, before a challenging day, or regularly to practise the behaviours and responses you want to strengthen.

These recordings are designed to support you in changing unwanted patterns around food, rather than promising a quick fix or cure.
They give you practical ways to work with urges, emotions and automatic eating behaviours, while practicing alternative ways of responding. With repetition, the aim is for those new responses to start feeling more familiar and accessible in everyday life.
They can be used alongside other support you may already be receiving, but they aren't a replacement for medical, psychological or eating-disorder treatment where this is needed.
-
Absolutely — you don’t need any experience with hypnosis, meditation or mindfulness. Every practice is completely guided, so there’s nothing you need to learn beforehand.
Hypnosis also isn’t about losing control or being unconscious. You’ll remain aware throughout and can stop the recording at any time. Your only job is to listen, follow along and see what you notice.
-
There’s no perfect schedule. You can choose between the three recordings depending on what you need that day.
You might use Surf the Urge when an urge appears, Soothe Without Food after a stressful or emotional day, and Imagine an Ideal Day more proactively — perhaps in the morning or ahead of a situation you know can be tricky around food.
Repetition can be helpful, so feel free to return to the recordings regularly rather than treating them as a one-time listen.
